[WiFi] WEP & WPA Ethical Hacking + dictionaries

[code]At 1st I must emphasize that THIS TUTORIAL IS NOT FOR CRACKING SECURED NETWORKS WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION from the network admin/owner!!!!

2nd, THIS IS FOR ETHICAL HACKING LIKE TESTING THE STRENGTH OF YOUR NETWORK, FINDING AND FIXING VULNERABILITIES!

3rd and last, DO NOT pm me or post here complaining that you couldn't get free inet from your neighbour's wifi by following the tutorial. You will be ignored! Actually, I know for a fact that this tutorial (if followed exactly) will get u success in over 90% of the time, so please follow it and you won't have any questions (Thanks will be accepted :D ). Also let me know if the links to the dictionaries go dead tho.

Now lets get to it. WEP cracking is a piece of cake these days. There are sooo many tutorials on the net and all u have to do is just google it. Please dont act like a n00b and ask questions that google can answer u within the 1st result page. Remember, Google is your friend when it comes to lack of knowledge! :)

Aircrack-ng and Wireshark is literally all u need on any platform, as far as tools go. Both are free, work on windows and linux and are available online from:

I highly recommend u to use Linux tho. And the one for the job is called backtrack which now is at version 4: http://www.backtrack-linux.org/

Thats that. When it comes to WPA, things get more complicated. How? well you'll find out if u follow the links below those amazing tutorials. In plain English, the reason why its more complicated is because WPA is a lot more secure than WEP and u can't crack it unless there is a client connected and if u have a very good dictionary.
