Dear Users,

I want to inform every single one of you over here in our big nice community. There were tests made on phishing in 2005-2009. And out of ALL of these years 2009 was the MOST dangerous one. It was 140% bigger than in 2008!


OK, but what is phishing ?
Phisher is a person that will try to take your password/username or account to use it for their own cause. Normally phishing is made similar way, Phisher will put up his own copy of a popular website like Rapidshare and put a "hack" into the login text fields. After you type in the passwords they go straight to the phisher!

HOW to get protected ?
ALWAYS AND ALWAYS check the website you are on. Normally phishers find a website where links need to be in the [code][/code*] section. But they have other ways too. Thankfully warez-bb protected most of us at least in 60-70 %. The rest we have to do our self. ALWAYS CHECK THE ADRESS YOU ARE ON! NEVER TRUST E-MAILS. THERE IS A WAY TO FAKE EMAIL SO IT WILL LOOK LIKE A OFFICIAL ONE FROM THE OFFICIAL ADDRESS!

What else do I do ?
Its all about imagination, and what YOU think you can change to make yourself protected? Never trust your anti-virus, there is always new infections coming out. Your anti-virus is not always going to be up to date.

-Update your password every week.
-Use different passwords in each website.
-Use anti-virus.
- USE FIREWALL
-Use password generators and modify the password generated a bit.
