Getting the Arturia Prophet V Demo working

As many of you know, Arturia makes some awesome VST plugins. (Jupiter 8v, Minimoog, CS-80v, etc) They emulate those old synthesizers greatly and I love them a lot. Though, they have that bloody dongle protection on both the Jupiter-8v and the Prophet V.

Well to make matters worse, they even put dongle protection on the demo for the Prophet V. :P

I got the demo working fully, and I will show you guys how to do it...

Step 1..
Download Prophet V

You can go 2 ways with this. Either go to the Arturia website and get it, or download it from me here:

If you want to do it the other way just go to the Arturia site, then goto downloads. When you get there it says Please click here to download the Prophet V demo. Click it, and give them a made up name, but give them any e-mail. (Must be a real e-mail address) You also need to tick the box that says you have a key or whatever. Then you can download it after you hit submit. They will provide you with 2 links. (Normal one, and one for the Mac)

Step 2...
Installing the VST

Run the program, set everything as you desire, and install it. Do not install the syncrosoft crap! I repeat, do no install the syncrosoft mumbo jumbo.


Now it's installed. Whooo! :mrgreen:

Step 3...
Getting past syncrosoft

First, go to here:

And get the Cubase program. (I will only be using the H20 dongle emulation, so if you know anywhere else to get it, go for it)

Install it, and make sure the dongle emulation gets installed. (by H20)

Now you can use Prophet V!
Run the program that uses the VST and pop it in there. :wink:

I've personally tested this, and it works perfectly for me.

Final Notes...
Dongles are stupid, etc, etc..

Yep they are stupid, and I gotta give major thanks to the people of H20 for doing the dongle emulation.

Also, as many of you know, the Jupiter-8v crack doesn't work. You get a whole bunch of syncrosoft errors. (No this emulation doesn't work on the Jupiter, I've tried it) However, I'm working on getting the Jupiter-8v fully functional. (I'm horrible at cracking, anybody wanna give it a try? :P )
